All services are by appointment only.
A new patient appointment is 90 minutes and is scheduled following a brief conversation with Dr. Solazzo. Patients may bring a trusted family member or friend to the initial appointment to provide further history, though not required. If available, patients are encouraged to either e-mail, fax, or bring prior psychiatric and mental health records to the initial appointment. Registration forms will be e-mailed prior to the first appointment, and may be emailed ahead of time or brought in person to the first appointment.
Single consultation appointments for a second opinion are 120 minutes, and a typed report will be sent to the referring provider. Patients will be required to submit prior records 3 business days prior to the consultation. Patients may bring a trusted family member or friend to provide further history.
Follow up appointments are 50 or 25 minute sessions. Dr. Solazzo works with patients to determine appropriate appointment length and frequency. Patients must be seen at minimum every 3 months to continue treatment.
Fees are commensurate with other are practicing psychiatrists; please contact Dr. Solazzo for further information. All fees are due the day of service and are payable by check, cash, or Venmo. Checks can be made payable to “Stephanie Solazzo, MD, LLC.” There is a processing fee for returned checks. For late arrival, patients will be seen for the remainder of the scheduled time, but will be charged the full amount for the scheduled session.
Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled 48hrs in advance (not including weekends or holidays). Appointments missed or scheduled without 48hrs notice will be charged the rate for scheduled session time. Of note, many insurance companies do not reimburse for missed or cancelled appointments. The 48hr cancellation policy is waived during weather emergencies.
Dr. Solazzo does not participate with any insurance plans. Patients with private insurance may file claims for reimbursement with their insurance companies for out-of-network service. Patients will be provided with a receipt on the day of service. Claims must be submitted by patients directly to their insurance companies.
Dr. Solazzo has opted-out of Medicare. Patients with Medicare will be required to sign a written agreement that states claims will not be submitted to Medicare for Reimbursement.
